Her husband, Chris and daughters Samantha and Kaley are a never-ending source of inspiration and happiness. Tonya says, “My family has given me an unlimited amount of support to pursue my career aspirations and real estate has given me the life balance I was looking for”.

Tonya is a proud graduate from the University of North Carolina at Wilmington with a degree in Psychology. She had a successful 13 year career in Human Resources Management with Fortune 100 Companies where she was able to develop sound management, listening and negotiating skills. She is recognized as being able to effectively help people achieve their goals and she has earned a solid reputation for being committed to whatever she does. Those who know her would call her “driven for success” but with consideration for everyone.

Just like Mom
Early in life, Tonya found inspiration watching her parents work hard to pursue their dreams. Most of all, she developed her solid work ethics by watching her mother manage a successful real estate career, build a strong family and maintain a sound reputation. “My mother is a strong woman with a powerful influence and I have to give her credit for my own energy and drive.” She learned to value what you work for and to focus on the things you believe in, which gave her a tremendous sense of pride & self-esteem. Today, Tonya is proudly following in her mother’s footsteps as a real estate professional.

Life Comes Full Circle
When Tonya had her first child she can remember the feeling of life being full circle with the anticipation of creating and experiencing with her children the wonderful family traditions she had enjoyed. Together with her husband, she tries to make a difference in the lives of their children by teaching them the power of a positive attitude, the benefit of personal motivation and compassion for those around you. She doesn’t take any day for granted and values the closeness that her family feels when they are together. Tonya works hard at everything she’s done, but feels her greatest accomplishment will be to inspire her daughters to be strong women; just like her mom did for her.
